The apps in the drawer are more like what you've recently used. They don't Use any power or memory unless you're downloading something or playing music.

Or you could buy one of these for your phone such as evo and the camera might actually reach its potential. Of course that's just closeups, but I'm sure they have something similar for range shots.

idk, ive found stuff that runs in the background and stuff that doesnt. but you can hold down the apps at the "quicklist screen" to kill those apps.

Half the apps out there don't support the task switching so I'm not sure there's a point to that. I guess I'll see if there's a difference in battery life with lots open and lots closed.

Right now you can tell a bit from update notes... But generally, it's music from any app other than iPod, gps, downloading, keeping irc open, saving state etc.
