Got mah iPhone, after a MASSIVE fiasco (I cannot stress this enough - it turns out that not bringing the correct ID really is a problem...) Just spending what little money I have left on some apps. Any suggestions besides the absolute obvious (iMovie, Hipstamatic, Angry Birds...)?

i havent noticed my battery life dying too fast, im just too lazy to kill each of them if there are a bunch running..

would be nice to be able to configure which ones run in the background and which ones dont.. I dont need my camera or my weather to be backgrounded ever just annoying.

Anyone use this phone while wearing polarized sunglasses? I don't remember my 3G being all "rainbow-y" when I was viewing it through my glasses. This one is. I can still see everything, it just looks really really funny.

You think that when you start multitasking, those apps are running in the backround so you feel you have to go into them and kill them? You know that showing up on that bar doesn't mean they are running right?

OR

You mean, which apps show up on the bottom bar when you doubleclick home to multitask? You want to change those apps? Like remove camera from there and instead put in a game?

say i open safari, phone, email, game, camera, game, facebook, game, ipod, message in that order

i get a call and I wanna read them a text and i open up the multitask bar, i dont wanna have to swipe thru all the games to get to the message.

Used the phone like I normally do....facebookimg, intrrnet browsing....playing madden all day.

I finally decided to plug in my phone to charge it, at 8% battery life after 41 hours of not charging it.

Phone has potential.

@jmc, I didn't need to charge the phone until late friday (had to force it to die by recording a movie and never stopping) and that was the first charge since taking it out of the box at 3pm on wednesday.

I think I'm getting annoyed at the antenna thing though, was walking around before trying to check facebook and had some problems. Also, ESPN radio isnt working

Not sure I want to buy a bumper, but I may have too. Switcheasy needs to release it's shells soon or I'm going to have to break down and buy the belkin one from bestbuy.

When I get a call and want to read a text I typically press the home button once, then press SMS right off the homescreen. No need to multitask that kind of thing imo.

Actually, that is the solution to your pickyness. Why are you even using the multitask feature for that lol. Apps on your homescreen should already be set up in order of use/priority, so just go to the home screen and open that app. Bam. Less battery drain and you get to do what you wanted.

Nah it's a waste. I've had it for years, since it was .Mac and the services should be standard to anyone who wants it.... Imagine all of those google services, but apple with a $100yr price tag attached.
