Did anyone else have to have a "paper order" done on their phone? I got 3 phones, two of them were regular orders through the system, and one of them had to be done with paper or something. I've gotten delivery notices for the two done through the system, but nothing for the paper one.

Do they send e-mail notifications for the ones ordered on paper?

I ordered mine by paper in the store, I did get a delivery notice as well as a phone call from the AT&T guy.

I am very much enjoying mine. So much faster and snappier than my old 3G.

I don't know how much I'm enjoying mine. It doesn't seem to have the same reception as my old 3g in the same areas, even without holding it and using a rubber band around it. Also I'm noticing a lot more broken up calls. Friend called me yesterday and i could hear him perfectly but he was like "what the fuck your phone sucks I haven't heard anything you've said".

I'd enjoy my phone a hell of a lot more if I didn't read tech websites/forums. They love to tell me how shitty the phone is supposed to be.

I've had no problems whatsoever. It's faster, smaller (helped by the fact that I'm not using a case), the screen is amazing, and I have no call issues (and I didn't on the 3G either).

I'm looking for a program to take music FROM my iphone and put it TO my laptop.

I've seen sharepod can do this, however, it will make a duplicate of every single file. Anyone know any way around this or another program? I don't need 2 of every song.

Basically, I'm at work... my main iTunes is my home computer. I haven't done the home sharing on my laptop in a few weeks, so the library is a little off. My Iphone is uptodate. So I want to take my uptodate iphone and add the, idk, 100songs tops onto my laptop. Is there any easy way to do this, or should I just wait

Comex To Release Spirit Like Tool To Jailbreak iPhone 4, iPhone 3GS (New/Old Bootrom) And iPod Touch 2G/3G On iOS 4

We finally have some good news for our readers who are tired of the complicated solutions that we’ve been posting to jailbreak iPhone, especially for users who have an iPhone 3GS with the newer bootrom.
MuscleNerd, member of the iPhone Dev team has just announced that Comex will be releasing a Spirit like tool to jailbreak iOS 4 for iPhone 3G, iPhone 3GS (irrespective of old or new bootrom) and also for iPhone 4.


MuscleNerd and planetbeing of the iPhone Dev team were tweeting yesterday that they were having fun playing around with iPhone 4 baseband to figure out how it to unlock it.
Since one needs to jailbreak the iPhone before unlocking it, some of their followers were wondering why the iPhone Dev team were working on unlocking iPhone 4 rather than a tool to jailbreak it first.
But according to MuscleNerd that’s not a problem as:

jailbreak for all devices at 4.0 is already handled by upcoming @comex release so, good time for iphone4 unlock stuff

Thus indicating that Comex should be releasing tools to jailbreak jailbreak iOS 4 for iPhone 3G, iPhone 3GS (old or new bootrom) and also for iPhone 4.
However, we doubt Comex will release the jailbreaking tool before Apple releases the iPhone software update (iOS 4.0.1) to fix the incorrect reporting of signal strength to address the iPhone 4 reception issues.

I came here to make a little rage post:

I went to my local ATT store on the 25th to place my order for 3 iPhone 4's. While doing the 3rd order, the computer crashed. The rep said, "Hey, I'm just gonna do a paper order for this.". I asked if it would affect the delivery time and he said no.

2 weeks later

Get two e-mails for ATT telling me my phones are ready for pickup. Confused why I didn't get 3 e-mails, I call the store. The lady tells me that the other one hasn't even shipped yet. I'm a little pissed because I specifically asked the guy if this "paper order" was going to affect the delivery day.

Going to see if I can get the guy to give me one of the ones they have in stock there for him being a fucking jackass and lying to me.

and it's not bad at all. Solid enough for protection even though its not hard plastic, and it's pretty nice. Was hoping to get the candyshell but I can't find those anywhere.
