Ya, I was waiting for the white too, then finally said fuck it and got the black. I'm happy as hell I didn't wait any longer. Now my choice is which free case!

So, I have the option of buying out the iPhone as an unlocked unit from the Apple Store (as opposed to a contracted phone through a carrier). What is the benefit to this? I don't see myself switching providers, but I am going to London for a few weeks in September (if that matters at all), but I just don't see any glaring pros to this over buying it on a contract if I don't plan on changing my provider. Just want to make sure I'm not making an oversight and potentially missing out on something.

I've had my switcheasy case for about a week now and it's garbage. The look of the case is great but offers no protection at all. I was having a shitty day on monday (car stopped working) and a bunch of other stuff and at the end of the day I dropped my phone outside and it landed screen first. The edge of my phone is sort of chipped and the screen protector didn't survive at all. And on top of that the top left corner of the case has warped and now my phone fits awkwardly inside.

Take it to an apple store they're still replacing damaged iphone 4's. I got a damaged one replaced yesterday.

It never claimed to be a protection from drops. Anything short of an otterbox defender is going to be shit for drops.
