Fix for facetime/mms/etc

Cydia

1. Cydia
2. Go to Manage
3. Go to Source
4. Add

   http://iphonedelivery.advinux.fr/cydia

5. Hit Done
6. Go to the repo
7. Install the only package listed
8. Reboot
9. Go to settings -> Phone -> FaceTime option should be there.
10. If this works, you owe me a date with a hot asian chick. mk? kthx

right before tyche posted the workaround i restored the phone and now when i go to the jailbreak website and swipe to JB nothing happens. says the installer crashed and to try again =[

Anyone having problems with iTunes deleting your cracked apps? I can't seem to get it to sync without them getting deleted.

I don't know whats compatible and whats not so I really haven't touched a thing. Saw that mywi wanted even more money and that's really all I've looked at even.

Is there anyway to disable spell check on iOS 4? Not talking about auto-correct, but the new spell check feature is a pain in the ass. I will click on a word and end up highlighting the world and accidentally type a letter which deletes the whole word.

probably posted already, but to fix mms/facetime:

Go to Cydia, just do complete upgrade... it will reboot your phone

then go to Settings -> General -> Reset -> Reset Network Settings.

Comex has uploaded the fix, so at this point, new JBs will be fine. Otherwise, if u JB earlier and are having MMS/FT issues just do those steps above. You will have to reactivate facetime through the settings -> phone menu.

For anyone that has JB but not done the restore from backup yet...you don't need to now. Cydia upgrade automatically restores your MMS and facetime now.

As for what I've installed, nothing more than just SBSettings right now. But OMG I'm so happy to have that back now.

Dunno if the phone will "upscale" them or not like it does with icons that haven't been updated in the appstore.

Although I'm not really to jump on them yet as I see springjumps, iconoclasm, 5 column, infinidock, etc are all borked right now on iOS4 :\
