Well I got a good restore back and all my shit back. Guess last night was just a bad 3G night cause everything is in working order. Now the question is do I jailbreak or not. I'm not sure I have enough reason to yet lol. Only need mywi once in a while at work and I haven't found too many good themes yet.

Lmao, I was going to change this but for some reason couldn't. I'm actually quite glad someone removed it too. It was just that they were calling it the iPhone 4g around the time that the rumours were first spreading about all the technical details - hence the thread name.

So what is the consensus on the new Otterbox Defender Case? I'm getting the new Iphone 4 in about 2 weeks and I'd like to know if the new Otterbox is worth it. I have the Otterbox now for my Iphone 3GS and am pretty satisfied with it besides the fact it's so bulky/heavy. Is the new one just as heavy/bulky? Thanks.

It's the same hack as the ipad. (it currently is not really all that usable)

But how many reasons on iphone4 are there to jailbreak it, not much out yet right?

I guess you could argue that because of how easy it is now that there really is no point not to jb.

Did the jailbreak itself fix the mms problem? I remember cydia fixed it but did comex fix it?

It's the same thing, comex fixed the jailbreak on jailbreakme.com and the cydia fix was to fix the existing users who already jailbroken their iphone using the site before comex fixed it.

As for jailbreak, there are certainly reasons to do it. Backgrounder (true multitasking), LockInfo, MyWi, 3G Unrestrictor are my uses of jailbreak.

I had tons and tons of uses for my jailbroken 3G I just didn't see much out thats compatible with iphone4. I know mywi but haven't had a need for it in a while, is lockinfo really worth the money and what is 3g unrestrictor?

Lockinfo is only $5. It's really just a convenience thing and I wouldn't say its necessary, but for $5 I just bought it.

3G unrestrictor is something that fools apps into thinking it's on wifi so normally if you can't use an app because it's on 3g (like skype), it will now let you do it. You can also use facetime on 3g with a recent update of this (but I haven't tried it yet)
