dunno where you heard this, but no...

pod2g has already cracked the bootrom, so that's a good opening step. Last I read is basically a "race" now on which one they use. They would prefer another home based crack like jailbreak.me, obviously not using the PDF font hack this time. The other option is the bootrom crack, but that takes longer since they have to package it up like redsn0w.

But 4.1 will be jailbroken eventually.

And 4.2 is currently not listed as an iPhone update. It's the forthcoming "iphone goodies to iPad" update.

Ya I personally didn't get much out of Jailbreaking my iPhone and at times I would forget Cydia open which murdered the battery life.

Normal Day: Leave home at100% charge, return home with 70-75% BL.
Cydia Day: Leave home at 100% charge, return home with 10-20% BL.

phone works fine the way it is? I can't really say I know a whole lot about jailbreaking though, but the few "features" I have seen aren't really impressive or relevant anymore.

With the HDR photos, what means the HDR is on, when it says HDR off, or when it says HDR on. I know it seems obvious, but Im not sure if that means to click it to turn it off/on.
