I've been holding back on pulling the trigger on one for months. I really like one or 2 of the artist series, Mea Ola specifically, but after looking through the gallery of customs it would feel wrong not to get a custom. Problem is I have no idea what I'd get and I haven't drawn or painted in years so my creativity has gone out the window lol. actually just use Jailbreakme.com (from the iphone) if you are on fw 4.0
or
download limera1n from limera1n.com for 4.1++

I've used the slanted dot for a while now, just wish you could integrate lockinfo and have it look decent. I hated the square dots, so I changed mine to round...

Now to start messing with the elite theme. I can't stand the lockscreens that came with it, trying to find a way to use slanted lock with it but I can't find where in the ephd theme folder the lock screen is located.

edit: holy crap the lockscreen is so damn laggy with elite pro. It loads like 1/4 of it at a time in 4 blocks.

For whatever reason slanted lock wasnt working before with elite, but now it is.

Looking through some of the elite thread on modmyi, lots of customizations to play with. I was going to go with that lockscreen over slanted pro, but don't like the text "elite" lol.

As for the 4 square loading lockscreen, that's currently because Winterboard as of now doesn't support the iphone 4 lockscreen. So they have to cheat it with a HTML Lockscreen that is loading in 4 sections. Once Winterboard is updated by Saurik, they should be able to go to a nice crisp one again.

Thanks, but it's still not what I'm looking for. The government building I work in is a network dead-zone. Need something that can play off a radio signal. At least while I'm there.

Well I got slantedlock and elite to a point where I'm happy, I'll keep looking through the modmyi thread for more toys and customize more.

My dad is looking for a replacement to his old PDA. He needs to be able to open and edit documents like word docs, needs to be able to look things up, have med calcs at hand and have epocrates at hand. He was originally looking at droids and htc's but doesn't want to pay for Internet service so iPod touch came into thought. Should he just get a smartphone or would the touch suffice for what he needs? He has wifi all the time at work if he were to need it, but the main thing he wants to do is read documents and look up medical stuff. He loves the idea of apps too. Since he's a verizon customer the incredible and Droid were his smartphone options of he was going that route.

Went ahead and got the elite hd theme, except the description under each app is missing. The dialer/calculator/etc didn't change either.
