TLDR I got a diablotek univeral AC adapter for my laptop since my old cord shorted out and generally the new one works fine. The problem is that whenever I try to use msn messenger or FFXI(so far. could be more programs) it goes bonkers, my laptop constantly swaps between ac and charging mode, the Adapter itself starts making sqeaking noises about 0/5 seconds apart constantly. etc etc. I have to test more to see the other symptoms/causes.
Any other info that you guys need and any suggestions as to wtf is going on?
