For those who didn't see, Aion Database (and armory, but fuck them) have a ton of new items added that are going to be in 2.0
You thought 1.9 was a tease so far? You haven't seen anything yet...
For example, the Mythril coin quest items?
Elyos
Asmo
Totally not bothering with Miragents at all, I'll grind the 51 coin gear stupid fast.
Only Mithril Coin item I'd bother to go after is the greatsword as a sub-fusion piece to an extendable. Miragent's may be a pain to get in parts, but I'd still say the set as a whole is better than the sunsoaked stuff. Plus those gauntlets don't have attack speed.
Either way, I'd expect NC to be stupid about the coin cost (2k+ probably) and the repeat quests may blow hard. From the way I've seen Asmos talk lately, their plat coin quests seem a lot easier/quicker than Elyos.
I'm interested in where this is from...

Would probably say the 2.0 alliance instances or maybe the governor boss battles or whatever they called 'em when one side owns both forts in whatever region.
Oh, mmosite shows that those drop off the blue dragon boss. There's a bunch of weapons that he can drop too that are really nice and unique models too. Fight sounds like it'll be hard.

And from another article on mmosite:
Next we turn to Sealed Storm Rudra, the final boss of Beshmundir Temple. It's a special boss, it casts the skills randomly. Each time you battle it the skill are different.

The boss has a lot of skills and most of the skills come with debuffs such as stunning and slowing; some skills can blow players into the air; it can summon a monster that can't be killed because you can't see it, this monster casts thunder. The key to battle this boss, according to some Korean players, is to evade the skills that will blow players into the air and the most difficult thing for players is that you don't know which skill the boss will use since all the skills are casted randomly.
Sexy. Too bad I'm only Lv36. Q_Q massive grind
Well, it's now impossible to defend a fort against a dredgion attack... absolutely ridiculous. Has happened twice to us since the patch on my server, both times the dredgion dropped THREE hero bosses on the deity at the same time. Deity dropped from 100% to 0% in less than 1 minute.
When Balaur fort defense from some was "get boss attention and drag it miles from the fort" and in turn successfully win, the Balaur, "I WIN!" button doesn't bother me much. I'd probably say it's rare they go for the same forts in short succession.
Well that doesn't apply to our servers, because we took Asteria just yesterday and had 3 heroes on it today.
And before we'd drag the hero boss off the deity and then kill it... I don't see what's flawed about a defense when you kill the attacker while defending your own deity...
yeah every server ive checked abyss on, balaur are taking a ton of forts with little to no effort on their side lol.
The Elyos of Azphel recently got the same thing .. 3 heros dropped in the fort from the dredgion. With the Calibur of Elyos we have ... we were able to defeat all 3 before they took the fort. I thought one was tough lol
yeah we did .. but we have Lost Cause, PlanB and Pimps on this server as well. Hardcore gamers that are decked out
not really about the "best" keep in mind: people with good gear going into 2.0 will have the best chances of reaching lv55 faster, and getting the new equipment sooner then the rest of the population. it's called being ahead of the curve and riding the wave behind you.
Also the full set of Lv55 orange pvp armor will be 5.8 mil AP... I'm having trouble seeing anyone that'll be able to get all of them, but I'm sure some crazy people will prove me wrong when 2.0 comes.
I think what pissed me off most is, on the 55 accessories, they have the exact same pvp attack as the 50 accessories.
