I have several animals and they are always climbing in my lap or running around on consoles. Sure they have unplugged some at a bad time but never have I got mad enough to actually want to toss one against a wall.

In regards to the guy, I can only hope that his charge gets raised to a felony only because I hate this kind of shit so much. Apparently, you have never seen how important a pet is to someone who has nobody else. I'd say there's more of those "least important life forms" around that have saved the sanity of the old, injured, sick or alone than you'd ever think. Similar benefits accrue to pet owners in general.
