    Video Cards

    I can't tell if my motherboard can use PCI express 2.0 how do you figure that out?

    I have my video card and it looks like the other one im buying but im not sure if PCI express 2.0 is usable

    You could google your motherboard and see what the specs on it are.

    Crack open the side panel and find those numbers on the motherboard. Something like M7S4-0PF103 and that'll be the model number. Post that model number in this thread and you'll receive help.

    it says pci express

    x16 for both like that one thanks alot ^^

    that means PCI e 2.0 will work right?

    PCI Express 2.0 will always be 'usable' as it is backwards compatible with previous versions of PCIe. And to be perfectly honest, it doesn't really matter all that much even if you have an older motherboard.     As you can see, the difference between x8(which is equal to PCIe 1.1 x16) and x16(PCIe 2.0) is a whopping 2% on the best GPU available.. and that gap decreases as you increase resolution.
