I'm going to use this thread since it's pretty much related. There is obviously something wrong about my card but I have no idea.

I took a couple of screenshots on MW2 with max and lowest settings, with FPS overlay. You judge what's wrong

I could run MW2 with my old GeForce 8800 GT with higher settings than every on low with more FPS than that.

I have absolutely no idea what's wrong. For the record, CCC is set at use application settings, and catalyst AI is disabled. I use version 10.5 of the drivers for the card.

I'd say it's the RAM. 2GB is on the absolute minimum side of the spectrum now. I used to lag out horribly in Aion with alot of people on screen, and switching from 2GB to 6GB fixed everything. It still lags a little bit, but that's due to my old GPU.

Edit: Eh I skimmed too much, didn't see you had higher with 8800 GT. I'd still upgrade more RAM though!

Upon further investigation, I found out that no matter the settings, it only happen on some specific maps, and in some case, in specific areas. This is fucking wierd.

I can play derail AA x4, everything higher than what they recommand and run it flawlessly.

I can play Highrise, but if I go in the middle I drop to 36 FPS.

Then comes Estate, where I get 25 FPS all around.

To SaviorSelf, I will be buying 4GB next payday and trash my shit 2GB

I doubt it'll ever happen to anybody else but in case...

Solution was simply moar memory. Everything works maxed out now.
