I don't think it matters. if that confession wasn't enough, won't they be able to use that computer as evidence? he was never tried for Natalee's murder so it's not like it's double jeopardy. I don't know how the legal aspects of that would work, if evidence obtained in one investigation can be used in another, but I would think they'll work something out.

as i doubt anyone besides her & him know what really happened, i'd guess (keyword before i get called an incoherent dipshit again) the cliff notes were this:

he (and the rest of the planet) know damn well he had something to do with young holloway disappearing 5 years ago (to the day).

his head was probably extra screwed up because of the date/anniversary/whatever you want to call it.

he meets this girl in a casino and brings her home, most likely NOT with the intention to kill her. there was evidence he was recruiting thai broads for sex trafficing, he's obviously banged 900 whores - taking one back to a htoel room is probably a normal thing for him.

she snooped on his laptop, which had articles mentioning himself either open or bookmarked on it. there are tons of these articles on any and every news site. i seriously doubt he had any incriminating evidence (for the holloway case) on it as he's been arrested numerous times.

he flips the fuck out because she "interfered with his personal life" and snapped her neck / beat her pretty much to death.

he takes off & a hotel employee finds the girl bleeding from her nose and basically dead a little while later. he's caught on film leaving, they catch him later in chile, with bloody clothes, he's a really stupid criminal and his luck has run out.

i think that sums up all the articles i saw within a few hours ago.

i'm guessing he's fucked for about 30 years and that's about it for ms. natalie ever getting her truth out

It seems the fuck actually confessed after a 7+ hours "interrogation" ... lol you know ( or atleast we can hope ) he got his beat in that little windowless room. I think it is all at the link, but on her show they kept showing the hotel surveillance footage of them entering the room together, then him leaving alone later ( with different cloths on and all his gear ). And he seriously looks totally calm and normal ... just another day on vacation. I've have been kind of following the case about Natalee, and so glad this scumbag is getting it finally.

Nancy Grace is absolutely hilarious. Has guests on her show that she doesn't agree with, just so she can troll them. And then
turns off said guests mics when then they try to talk louder then her while arguing. That is solid gold entertainment right there.
... not to mention veiwing options @ 2am are pretty limited.
