    Question about Windows 7 services

Ok just a quick question about Windows 7 services. Is it just me or it doesn't work like Winxp?

    Here is an example.

I use VNC to support people at distance I have VNC server running here and VNC server running at my Parents PC (both have windows 7)

Back when i had windows XP all i did was install VNC service mode and all would run fine

But on Windows 7 i install it as Service mode, it register and starts OK but it doesn't work, i still have to manually open VNC server.

Is it normal or am I missing a step for W7?
    Thx

A lot of VNC servers don't work right due to a feature called session 0 isolation.

The tl;dr of it is that services cannot access the desktop directly, giving VNC servers that run as a service a bad case of "Won't Work".

The solution is to use a VNC server that is fully compatible with Windows 7, or run the VNC server as a standard program once the user has logged in.
