La Bouffonne: this is the signature beer from a bar (Le Bouffon du Roi) right near my house. 8.5%, cost me 1.50 euros in the convenience store next door to it. It's not the best blonde I've had but I wanted to try it and it was hot today so a cool crisp, fruity blonde was on the cards. It still beats the pants off most beers I've tried though -- like fries, Belgians just can't seem to get this beer stuff wrong.
