Guardian Review

Certainly worthy of the hype, then, with the only quibbles being a frustrating mini-game that too often breaks up the main action and a difficulty curve that, even on easy, can be unforgiving. While it's unlikely that Human Evolution – or perhaps any game – will have the impact of the original Deus Ex, this is a superbly realised title and a sure contender for game of the year.

Late to the party on this one. Just watched about 30 minutes worth of youtube videos on this and I think this will get purchased. Graphics look amazing. AI looks good. Bitch slap video was intense! I never played the other Deus Ex games so this would be a new experience for me.

played the leak of it and it's worth it. everything has a consequence to an extent even boss fights.

Loving the game so far, about 15 hours in. The minigame is dope once you understand it, took me like 5 mins to get the hang of it. It's rewarding and very fun imo. Of course you can bypass most of them if you want to hunt for passwords, or you can just find a way around it. Lots of different pathways throughout the game.

Faces are pretty ugly but everything else looks good to great. Menus are sexy. The skill tree offers a lot of different skills, you can build a melee heavy character, stealth build, focus on hacking skills, radar and jumping augmenting etc... really nice stuff there.
playing on 360, loadtimes during area changes and loading a save, those are noticeable but nothing gamebreaking. Looking forward to PC version though.

Some replay value here because of the different paths and styles of gameplay. I've been sneaking through the whole game and the only person I've HAD to kill was a boss.

TL/DR it feels like MGS (stealth) + Rainbow Six Vegas (engine/maps) + Mass Effect (dialog tree).
