My PSR and D/A is high, but my K/D is really low right now because of my group of friends who I play with and my general play style

I'm trying to do more carry heros from now on, but I play with friends a lot and I just cave and play the support most of those games <_<

I prefer support really. Carries are just so blah. Usually require no skill to be competent with, and to be good with is minimal. "Farm for 40 minutes -> win" is the basic strat for almost all hard carries. Support is generally more fun but more frustrating, I suppose semicarries would be great but generally I dont like the pressure. Also, it's way more fun to make a carry out of a support hero.

My favorite hero build is carry electrician. Sup 22/9/24

Oh man I love electrician at endgame. Get a sacrificial stone with 10+ charge = unkillable.

Sacrificial Stone is a luxury item and by the time you get it you shouldnt need it anymore.

I don't consider it luxury on him the way I play with him. I get it first thing, sustainer > sacrificial stone. If you're going to get it, you should get it as soon as you possibly can to get those charges on it. I've seen it become so awesome for electrician, that I consider it core item on him.

I really dislike sacrificial stone because it of the item progression, much the same reason I cant ever condone buying Sheepstick.

When I've seen people rush sac stone it's always shield + whatever regen items and such -> marchers -> sustainer -> sac stone. This is a huge detriment to their game because they really arent getting ANYTHING for a LONG time. This really sucks because electrician is such a truly item dependent hero.

When you build it this way you generally wont get sac stone until probably level 11 or later in a real game. By 14 you need to be invincible, which will require a vanguard.

My build is insanely unpopular and I always get laughed at for it.

Shield + whatever regen -> lifetube should be by minute 3-5 and beastheart should be by 10-15 minutes. Marchers followed by ring of sorcery, then finishing plated greaves and that's core by level 14. From there it's really situational but frostfield is a personal favorite.

Sac stone is so very obviously a better item, and really it's perfect for electrician, but Electrician has a hard time farming and shouldnt be getting kills on purpose (unless you're like me and think Electrician is a good chase hero). The only problem is that it doesnt fit into his gameplay or timeline of needed items.

And under no circumstance can you suggest that vanguard is less important than sac stone, it just provides too much survivability.

rofl I actually went back to one of my saved replays. plated greaves, ring of sorcery, frostfield plate, radience, assault breastplate, and vanguard. I got a genocide in their shrine.

after getting boots you should rush helm of black legion then build the other items for sac stone ASAP. once you have glowstone, pickled brain and manatube, dissasemble your helm of black legion for the sac stone. helm of black legion loses effectivity late-game thus why you dissasemble for the sac stone to get the charges early game.

I never saw it played that way before but it definitely sounds worth trying.

oh it is. also its not terribly hard to farm with elec. hit a creep wave each creep once, then pop your burst skill (you'll get all the mana back). and in addition you can have shield on so you get the entire wave (since shield does dmg/sec)

Yeah I know how to farm with elec but you still cant do it until after you've finished vanguard or only for the last piece of vanguard if you're slow.

And I don't agree that you are not getting anything for a long time. Sustainer alone is a nice up to your survivability, as is any mana regen once you've got a few levels into your shield.

But I like the suggestion to disassemble helm (which I actually didn't know you could do this) once you've got the other items for sac stone since 2 out of 3 of the things go for it.
