It's what I rock right now. I work in our IT dept. so I do a good amount of sitting everyday. I'm usually not a big staples chair fan, but I found it on sale a few months back for like $80 I think? Anyways, it's comfy, stylish (to me at least, mine has red mesh going around certain parts of it and red seams), pretty big. It fits me comfortably and I stand about 6' 1''.

I registered to this forum just for this discussion, I hope it will worth it

I've been searching for a comfortable chair for YEARS!! The best chair I ever sit is the ones at the job. They are in tissue, they have many adjustments and are high enough to let my head relax on occasions (when I relax my head, it's almost at 45 degrees, not the best).

One of the things I love with this chair is the tilt feature. It's true I can choose the position of the seat I want, of the back and all, but this is not what I'm talking about. I can tilt all the chair of maybe 15-20 degrees, like a LA-Z-BOY. I can do that without my legs, it's easy. In fact, I'm always in this position, I don't want to push with my legs all day and that is the reason why this chair is so comfortable.

I tried many chairs over the years in the stores, most of them do not have the head rest or the 15-20 degrees easy tilt. Today I looked on the net and found the one on tigerdirect. I see that Amarok bought it, so I would like to ask him to tell me if this is the chair I have been looking at for years. I see there is the head rest, but what about the 15-20 degrees easy tilt ?

Oh and the chair at work is 400$, a little too much for me. I can take a picture of the chair at work if you don't understand what I say with the 15-20 degrees tilt.

If you're in the United States, and want to avoid taxes, fees, and outrageous shipping prices, start your chair search by using Amazon. Secondly, look into Herman Miller chairs (assuming money is no object), as they are arguably the finest office chairs you'll find anywhere in the world. Many models are available on Amazon with free shipping, so if you don't mind dropping three to six hundred dollars on one, your ass will thank you, and for a long time, too.

If you don't want general advice and are simply interested in Amarok's feelings on that one chair, I'd suggest first seeing if they still post here, and after that, PMing them. No one else will be able to tell you what they thought about it.

Besides that, Herman Miller chairs are sold all over the world, and that includes Canada. You can go to their website and pick your province to see where you can purchase their chairs. You've said you've been searching for a comfortable chair for years, and you really won't find anything better than theirs, but good luck finding something comparable, at least.
