I was kinda disappointed at the end of the episode. I just hope to see more of Sookie & Eric. I'm thinking of buying the books and reading them also. Are they any good?

They are good, but it's only from sookie's PoV... so keep that in mind before buying em.

Someone already brought up the point that Sookie was introduced to Crystal at the begining of book 4, but Jason had been seeing her for a bit. So I think they are going to end the season without going too far into that one. I really hope they leave the amnesia bit off until next season, and not try to squish it in.

It seems they have deviated more with this season than the other two, its hard to say what will happen. The Queen is already married + the coma sequence? They will probably turn Hadley, and Sookie will learn that Bill was sent to Bon Temps by the Queen.

it's only for 2 weeks, but eric turns all bashful and sookie boinks him while he's got amnesia ( It was a spell curse and part of the witch battle storyline that they probably will do next season. )

better not be rushing into the queen & king takeover since that part is sorta awesome and halley is supposed to be dead for that... they can't really rush that. And it seems like they combine the minor stories of books while keeping each season in line w/ the main plot of the books
But at comic con Allan Ball said next season "somebody will get amnesia and somebody who hadn't liked this person up to this point will start to develop feeling for him. If you have read the books you know what I'm talking about."

So I'm assuming next season will be the witch wars. I wouldn't be surprised if they combine the witch wars w/ Jason's were-panther story since it seems like Jason is alrdy starting trouble w/ Hot Shots and I wouldn't be surprised if one of the season cliffhangers is Jason getting kidnapped and bitten.

One thing that I think they are gonna totally fuck up is Sookie killing Debbie while Eric is under amnesia. That' ties into the Jason were-panther story and if they combine the Jason story w/the witch wars then I'm confident Sookie will just kill Debbie this season. Thought it was gonna happen last week tbh

Yeah, I agree they are changing a lot around.. w/isnt a bad thing for ppl who read the books. Was laughing at Comic Con though.. everyone was shouting for Bubba and Ball said "I couldn't do it right, in the books you believe its the real Elvis, while in the show it would just look like an imitation." And everyone starting to shout for Bruce Campbell. Ball also said "He doesn't want to have to explain why vampires are aging" so I think that's a hint to him not intending to do as many seasons are there are books. But they can still get a good 7+ seasons as of now. And Harris isn't done w/the books afaik.. but she said "I have known how it will end for 9 years" So I'd think its coming to a close soon

Idunno about you guys, but I've got my favorite True Blood lady right here.

^. I love Pam and I like Eric all the more because of his concern for her.

To that end, the people I was watching this episode with always have to fast-forward "through the gay stuff" and I had to laugh at Eric's big showing. Especially when he got down on his knees. The whole time I'm like "guys, eric is going to blow Russell for his crown" and "motherfucking Northman almost took it in the butt before mercilessly murdering someone FOR HIS CROWN" just to drive in the image of the coolest guy on the show being a fan of dicks. Toooo hilarious, lol. The scene with Talbot actually surprised me, was not expecting that much man ass. In that regard they filled like their entire show quota for old man ass in this episode. Sookie's scene at the end was crazy, though, forgot how hot she was.

ugh, fucking hate Bill. I know I mentioned it after the last episode, but this shit with Russell and him is killing me. Same haircut, both are generally uninteresting themselves but involved in interesting situations and now they both have this shitty collar-less jacket thing they do at all times lol

And I was honestly surprised at the extent the show showed of Eric/Pussyboy getting it on. I expected some kissing but not actual (well, you know what I mean) fucking man on man. Kinda hot.
