And I was honestly surprised at the extent the show showed of Eric/Pussyboy getting it on. I expected some kissing but not actual (well, you know what I mean) fucking man on man. Kinda hot.

I mean, Bill's actor is good-looking... he's just old. Probably would've been kind of hot in his prime. That said, Alcide is unfairly hot.

Eric is still the most attractive, though, by far. I would love stills of him nude in this last episode. ;o The one gif I found didn't do the scene justice at all.

Also, Alcide is 10x hotter than Eric i.m.o. (not saying Eric is ugly, just not as hot). That being said, Bill wouldn't be so bad if he got a haircut ala Eric in season 1.

That episode was great. There were some hilarious lines at the beginning, "They killed my Cooter!" being one of them. I thought Talbot was hilarious so I was kind of sorry to see him go, but at least the Eric v. Russell situation is finally coming to a head.

Need to drain them and sleep (not sexually) w/them underground (needs to be soil/dirt). That's why Jessica failed to convert the dude at the beginning of the season.. She drained him but forgot to sleep w/him in soil or w/e

Violence + camp + cheesy romance + lampshading + gratuitous sex + humor. It's not so much "good" as it is "really fucking entertaining".

A much more sexual and gory version of twilight imo.. with a lot of fighting but no blowing up (except a house in S2 >_>) Although I've never watched/read twilight so I maybe WAY off. Also very funny show with amazing one liners "He killed my cooter!!!"

I kind of like to say it's an "adult" and better version of Twilight. No stupid kids (excluding Tera of course) and the entire storyline isn't just about Bella's (Sookie's) love interest. It has humor, Twilight doesn't. It has really hot sexy men. Twilight doesn't. True Blood has tons of boobage and sex. What more could you want?

I think a lot of the humor comes from the campy'ness (sp) of the show.
Its like Raimi doing Horror.. There is some stuff that you can't help but laugh at because its so campy, but somebody who doesn't understand it would find it unfunny / not scary / retarded

give it more time. When it first aired I watched like 1-3 episodes and stopped watching.. Then, like 6 months later, when everyone came around and said how good it was I went back and watched it and really liked it.

Try to stick with it, it gets progressively better. I think I prefer S2 over S1 personally just because of the "Jason at church camp" storyline.

It's funny, her accent and proper-ness annoyed me at first, but she started to grow on me. By the time that scene happened, I was like SHE IS AMAZING! There are also way too many funny Jason lines to count from that plotline.
