The church storyline was great, if only it wasn't paired with the maryanne storyline. Jason's one of my favorite characters for the lulz.

Yeah the Maryann storyline seemed to drag on too long. I believe season 2 was when they first started to talk about Eric's past + Godric so that was a big positive imo.

I also love how any time Jason picks up a gun or is determined to do something brash they play that little theme with the snare drum. Makes me laugh every time.

On account of kind of being naked it has also hit me that Hadley is way hotter than Sookie. Sometimes I think Anna only got that role because she can act I guess and is nice to look at sans-clothes, but I don't know, just ...jesus @ Hadley. Plus it kills me everytime Paquin says "bitch" with that harsh, foced southern inflection, sounds so weird.

Paquin's done a bunch of big time movies. That alone got her the lead, for sure.

It took me about 5-6 episodes to get into it. And so far I've learned that most people who love True Blood didn't like it at all the first couple episodes. Trust me, when you do, you'll be hooked.

Yeah, I think for a lot of people getting into a series like this based on the "everyone loves it" reason makes you presume for some reason you should give a shit about the characters right away or expect them to be exceedingly interesting while in actuality I think it takes a reasonable amount of time to become interested and invested in it. Plus that whole "Bill is terrible" thing might shake off a few potentials.

Ya Hadley is much more attractive then sookie, but u would have never known it until she was shown 1/2 naked last episode. Speaking of female characters... I was dissapoibted how the cast holly. I'm sure the actor is extremely attractive w/her hair out and w/o the redneck country girl makeup.... But damn, she was never made to look like a freak in the books lol

Agreed, tig bitties too. Anna paquin has a great body but I think her head is too big, and her Michael strahan gap is meh.
