Could someone spoil what differences there were between the book and the show for Hot Shot? I don't have much time to read other than in between classes, and I don't want to carry around a vampire romance novel lol.

Spoiler: show
Personally I thought the season was a train wreck. Once again a lot of side crap I don't care about, and the interesting stuff kept at a minimum. Oh well.
Surprised so many people liked that finale. I thought it was pretty awful. The character behavior was off in more than a couple scenes and the ep was so poorly written overall. It was like some fanfic author got to write the finale.
That entire episode was weak. The only part I liked was how sexy Eric was covered up in all that wet cement. Someone spoil if Eric & Sookie ever hook up in the books for me?

Spoiler: show
Feeling genuine shock that Tara's incredibly fucked up hair hasn't come up yet, bad hair is enough to drive anyone over the edge after that much stress lol. All that came to mind was Leslie Nielsen's hair in Dracula: Dead and Loving It after I saw her.
Horrendous episode, found myself ffing more than usual.
Its why Alan Ball made a statement at the end of the show being all like "Next season will be what u love!"
They should of ended it better. Instead of the lame Sookie going poof. They should of ended it how the book did..
Not really a spoiler since Ball said himself Eric gets amnesia:
Sookie is driving home from work and she nearly runs over a butt neked Eric who doesnt remember a thing. A much better lead in to next season over the pure filler faerie land they ended it w/
but, but, but there's naked boobies in filler faerie land.
I was just gonna keep my hatred of the season finale to myself since people were praising it but now I can join the crowd. Terrible episode, Tara shoulda slit her own throat with the scissors. WTF with her now anyways? She cut her hair and is taking a trip to LA to become the next Oprah? Eric should have ravished Sookie instead of trying to play the nice guy card, it never works. The last scene between Bill and Sophie Ann where they do the Trinity looking kick from Matrix was one of the dumbest effects I've seen and it was only cool that one time first time you've seen Matrix.
I'm happy that Alan Ball has great plans for next season but fuck him for wasting my time with this episode. He should have made it a good episode instead of thinking what he's gonna do next season. What a jackass I hope a raccoon bites him while filming the next season and he dies.
Next season, some one will say "Dodge this!"
Episode was generally pretty terrible. Russell was good as hell though, wish he wasn't gone for the time being. How the fuck did Eric get out by the way?
Just noticed, isn't Russel the guy in the ship in the bottomless pit in Garden State? WTF
anyone got the last episode streaming? My usual site is oddly lacking
Icefilms, I wouldn't recommend it unless you're a rabid fan who'd watch w/e they threw at you.
There wasn't anything really holding him down(other than wet cement) was there?
I didn't like the episode, completely underwhelming.
I don't think there is any way Sam killed Tommy.
How fucked up was the Sookie blending Talbot scene? What prompted her to do that? She can gtfo now.
He was actually tied down with some silver I think and also the fact that he lost so much blood/been exposed to the sun for so long makes him kind very weak.
They explained it very poorly but as far as vampire concept goes I think he is in kind of a state where his strength will not regenerate until he drinks more blood but obviously he is not able to meet true death unless he gets staked or burnt.
I hope Sam dint kill Tommy, at this point Sam and Jessica are the only characters I care about.
Also, how much of a piece of shit were the werewolves this season, holy shit. Alan Ball said that he used wolves because he dint want the were's to look fake but I think he should have went with ruber suit werewolves instead of this crap. Alciede in his human form is a huge guy and I see no point whatever of them changing into wolves. All I seen the whole season was, change into a wolf = 90% chance you die. They got shot, driven over with a van, all kinds of stupid things that they could have survived in human form. Worst supernaturals ever.
They totally copied the scissor scene from Elfen Lied.
(no one was complaining about it because Tara kept her mouth shut through the entire scene)
Fucking this. What exactly is the benefit of being a werewolf in the true blood universe? Running slightly faster than a human can run? Not worth giving up thumbs, imo.
The Russel part was cool at first, but then it looks stupid. I know the special effects budget is rather low for the show, but it looks liked they just glued a bunch of crap to his body (they did a better job when Bill got all burnt up in S1). Hell, as he was moving around I could see his skin underneath all the black papermache (sp).
And if you were THAT badly hurt then you shouldnt be able to move around so easily. While he was tied up to the stripper pole he was movin his arms and neck like he was fine, nor did his voice signify any pain once brought inside
I thought Russell looked hilarious the entire time, especially when they dragged him away in chains and his blood red eyes are wide open at the absurdity of what's going on lol. It was great for shock value at first, but then he just started looking like a brownie when the top layer starts cracking all over and that served as a pretty big distraction.
