Scotch man here. My favorites are J.Walker Green Label or The Glenlivet if I'm drinking it straight or on the rocks. If I'm mixing it with soda then it's J.Walker Black Label. J.Walker Red Label should never pass anyone's lips imo. J.Walker Gold and Blue labels are also amazing scotches but the cost is outside of my range for regular drinking.
Scotch Single Malts. Smokier is better, so Laphroig, Bowmore, but also Talisker and Caol Ila.
However, I must object. Drinking "on the rocks" diminishes the taste of the whiskey. Best is to drink it pure or with a sprinkle of room temperature water. A small amount of water actually enhances the taste of the whiskey.
Have you ever tried whiskey stones? I saw them in a catalog but wasn't sure.
Bourbon or Scotch. TN in a pinch.
Beer fags? That's pretty funny. While I'd say it's an acquired taste, if you don't like it, you don't like it. There's definitely a difference between something mass-produced by Millcoorweiser and a microbrewery. Maybe you've just had shitty beers.
Try something different, I recently got turned on to Schlafly beers, out of St. Louis. Most of their stuff is excellent, I really liked the dry-hopped APA (very hoppy), the No. 15 and the Kölsch.
Yall take the beer fags thing too seriously lol. I just didnt want it in this thread as it seems every other alcohol thread is over taken by beer stuffs instead of non-beer stuffs. Side note, I dont drink beer outside of the rare time when all the planets align, and done out of courtesy; I dont drink carbonated drinks.

Jameson, problem solved. Either on ice or right out of the bottle.
I like me some good ol cheap Jack Daniel's. :>
