Ive had Bbq in Memphis and it was alright, not Corky's tho. But it still cant hold a candle to the Pitt or Fletchers, which are in NC.

Main thing I like about Corky's is how particular they are with the prep, and their ribs too. Fucking great.

I've never found a reason to actually set foot in NC, so I admit I haven't tried the BBQ there, and there is a place out here near Germantown I can't recall the name of that is really good too.

Don't get it as much cause there is usually a fucking line out to the street, Corky's has the drive-around service.

You really are missing out, we have so much fantastic BBQ, just about anywhere in Western Carolina you can find great BBQ like Isla said.

The place out in Germantown is only wet stuff, Corky's sells both, but I like the dry stuff from there.

Course, I am partial to homecooked dry ribs too, but that's just cause the mom-in-law makes AWESOME fucking dry ribs... fuck, now I gotta bug her to make some more, damn things are like crack on a bone.

Note, when I say dry, I merely mean it isn't covered in sauce when you get it, it isn't cooked out til it's dry at Corky's, the stuff is juicy as hell, just clean.

As much as I like brisket I'm iffy on Texas BBQ. I usually prefer Memphis-type or KC-type, and prefer pork over beef which pretty much never happens in any other aspect of life.

Factness: pigs are indeed made of BBQ.

I miss Whataburger, and this joint that popped up called Burger Station made hamburgers so good you would find a way to lick your elbows to get the stuff that ran down your arm.

Here in Belgium they ruin hotdogs completely by taking a perfectly good dog and then putting a PILE OF SAUERKRAUT on it. Then ketchup.

You sure it was a hotdog, and not a bratwurst? Bratwurst and sauerkraut go hand in hand.

My favorite way to eat a hotdog is wrapped in cheese with bbq sauce, the only real condiment.

Please don't talk about Chicago pizza, I haven't had it since I last drove through there like 4 years ago. Despite being Brooklyn born that pizza is legit, I'm always half tempted to get it flown out but I'm afraid that it won't taste the same. I tried folding that slice and it did not end well though lol, broke the slice in 2.

Texas Roadhouse, has excellent Texas style bbq, and the bread they serve with the meals....out of this world. Sadly I only know of a few Texas Roadhouses, and they're all in the sw burbs by me, haven't seen any up north or in the city.
