Office/Work relationships. Your experiences/opinions?

My CEO met his wife at his previous company, and I met my girlfriend of almost two years at my current job.

If you're mature about it, it can definitely work. However if you're just looking for "something fun", fuck no.

I will sternly recommend against office relationship unless you are gonna marry her, otherwise things will get really awkward depending how closely you guys work together. I dated a barista at a starbucks near my place and had to walk 5 more blocks everyday for coffee after we broke up. I can only imagine what it's like in an office when you see each other everyday for projects.

Maybe too late in saying this, but I'd also definitely recommend against it. I went out a couple of times with a summer intern a few years back.... the worst part is when shit hits the fan and you have to continue to work with the person. Trying to maintain a professional working relationship with the person is pretty tough, not to mention if you work with any manipulative assholes they'll bring it up all the time to try to make you look stupid as a distraction from the fact that they don't do any fucking work all day.

Or maybe I had a bad experience just trying to get some ass off a hot tease? Idk... at any rate, I wouldn't suggest it.

well, because it was mostly my fault. It was an amicable breakup but I just didn't feel like going in there and reminisce what our relationship could have been.
