Topic. Long story short, I want to ask out a co-worker. I've heard and read many positive and negative things about these kinds of things working/not working. What are your experiences BG?
Little background. Been working at the office for 2 years, as she has. She knows I wanted to ask her out in the past, but I waited a little too long last time, and she met some other dude (not in the office) Recently (within the last 2-3 weeks) they broke up for good. He was cheating on her for months and did her really dirty. Obviously I'm not going to ask her out immediately, and I don't want to hit that ever dangerous friend zone crap. I was out with her and a bunch of her friends this past weekend for some glow in the dark mini golf. We all had a great time, and all her girlfriends loved me, but I'm not interested on them. I want to hang out with her some more, but if it's too often I'll probably never have a shot. She claims she may never date again, but I've heard that countless times before.
Anyhow, moreso than the "what should I do" I'm more looking for input on your experiences with office/work things. We don't get the chance to interact much during the day at all, so nothing should change (though it always does) And if you have any input with what I should do with the lady, it is welcome. I'm not one of those hit it and quit it guys. I'm faithful, and generally non-dirtbaggish. So BG, what are your stories??
