As far as subzero.. I think they could get away with him and shang having powers, and just say it's from spiritual meditation, mutant, etc. However if they do decide to go the 'real real' route, then yeah, subzero could just have a nitrogen backpack with nozzles attached to his wrists.

Okay, I'm not even going to front. I saw this thread and immediately thought lolMKmovie. Saw the video, fucking want this now!

I gotta admit i'm on the same boat as you. Teaser blew my mind. This movie looks to have a lot of potenial. Jae White is an amazing actor and has martial arts to back it up.

That was the greatest trailer i've seen in a long time.... i really like how they tried to tie in real things to explain the way certain chars. look..... please god let this be real. If is isn't real give whoever did that trailer a fucking job.

Im sure it's real, but whether or not it's for a movie, or a game, or something else, is the question. Im going to be dissapointed if it's anything but a movie, theyve been talking about another MK movie for years now, to waste all of this just on a game will suck. If it's both, ok, but just focus on the movie part more, the game turned hopeless after it went 3D.

UPDATE 2: Cat's out of the bag. This is for the movie, and it comes from the mind of genius fight choreographer Larnell Stovall. He's the guy who did the fights for the excellent Undisputed 3: Redemption, on DVD and Blu-Ray right now. I hope that this movie gets made with Larnell plotting the punches, because this guy isn't just a geek like us, he's also got an incredible skill and ambition to create the next generation of fight choreography.
