The only thing that kind of bothered me was that last I heard Chris Casamassa was going to play the role of Scorpion in this movie. This dude has always been on the MK team, been a decent actor in other things (one of my favorite B martial artists), and always portrayed Scorpion.

Im saddened by this, but apperintly C.C. is still active in this film some how though.

I actually used to take Karate lessons from him... the Red Dragon dojo he works at is literally down the street. He took a lot of time off when he first got cast for MK and then that kids' martial arts show.

He did an interview with the local paper saying they were working on another movie and he was going to reprise Scorpion, but that was a while ago.

Also, normally I'd be annoyed that they'd be doing the usual video game movie thing of throwing out most of the established plot, but in this case it's probably a good thing. Boon and Tobias were hardly master story crafters
