I was actually thinking this too. It would probably make for a pretty decent comic book as well because you can write so much in a world already drenched in conflict

I actually used to take Karate lessons from him... the Red Dragon dojo he works at is literally down the street. He took a lot of time off when he first got cast for MK and then that kids' martial arts show.

He did an interview with the local paper saying they were working on another movie and he was going to reprise Scorpion, but that was a while ago.

Jealous. The episodes of WMAC Masters with him are my favorite.

Just saw the "trailer" and it looks good but part of me just can't see a MK movie in the non-cheesy fashion. Also Nullz, they added the Johnny Cage dying bit cause no one likes Cage >.> so it'll encourage more people to go see the film just to see Señor Nutz die.

my favorite: kung lao's close quarters slice (MK2), followed by Scorpion's double slice (MK2)

btw I have met Anthony Marquez, Daniel Pesina, Carlos Pesina, and Dr. Philip Ahn (Shang Tsung, MK2). They were all really polite, and signed a lot of photographs and game cartridges for me. This was about 13-14 years ago lol, but I remember it well because I have always been a huge fan of the 2D MK series

I'm a change it and say a bunch from Trilogy. When MK was released for the home sys I remember playing them at the local electronic store. Needless to say I was pissed they censored the shit out of it and never bought it (snes).

Anti-hero. selfish goals done in a way that serves him best. He goes out and saves the world, but only because he wants revenge, not because it's the right thing to do. That kind of thing.
Plenty of movies with a protagonist like that.

And really the kind of protagonist that works best in live-action. The all-good hero always seems so cheesy, only animation can get away with it and even then it's up to good writing/VAing.
