I just meant that usually the "bad guy" isn't the guy who gets the most screen time (like, typically, protagonists do).

There are "good guys" and "bad guys", and there are protagonists and antagonists.
Protagonist is a main character. The one the story mostly follows. The antagonist is the protagonists foil/obstacle/objective/rival etc etc.
good guy can be a protagonist or an antagonist, same with bad guys.
Recent example; Death Note. Light Yagami was the bad guy, yet he was the protagonist.
Scorpion's never been a "bad guy" like Freeza from DBZ, or Shishio from rurouni kenshin, nor has he been a good guy like goku or kenshin.
Trying to define him as a "good guy" or "bad guy" is not going to happen.
just to play WB's advocate here, internet hype does not equal box office win
you can't really be that dumb, so i'll let it slide
I enjoyed that movie even though it wasn't scary.
i think exception that proves the rule.
Samuel L Jackson could sell any movie? I saw ads for that shit everywhere. Just because avatar made a lot of money and did 3D well doesn't mean every movie will do 3D well and sell well because of the 3D.
but back on topic of movies that greatly benefited from 'internet hype'

and before you say Will smith can sell any movie.
fuck I got nothing. He is Americas favorite non-threatening black guy next to George foreman.

Best Internet Hype for a movie is Blair Witch Project.
For the retard that keeps posting movie posters to try and make a point: you realize that MK already has an established fan-base, right? And a decent-sized one at that.
I get your point, and thats what people thought about all the other game-to-film/comic-to-film movies, but look at them now. It doesn't matter what medium its from, having an established fanbase helps a lot. Better yet, brb, about to post the posters of every Marvel Studios movie ever made.
Youtube trailer down, any others?
edit: Nvm, found another.
