Got to love how the PS2 file sizes are about half the PC ones, yet take almost 10 times as long to download? I wonder if it's a system limitation that it can't write data to the hard drive that fast or what. It loads games much faster from the hard drive than from optical disc.

The PS2 doesn't use USB for the hard drive, it uses IDE and a 5400 RPM drive. USB 1 would load much slower than it does now, it's actually slower than the optical disc drive, and the PS2 HDD transfers data faster than the optical drive is capable of, hence why HDLoader was so appealing at first. The USB loader for PS2 loads games slower than the disc.

:/ I file checked and it just said 2 files were bad and that would probably be my hume F haidate.dat port to mithra, and cheer emote on mithra.

Am I the only one encountering problems after this update? I zoned into Whitegate and my game crashed. I did a file check twice afterwards and it froze up both times at 78%. I can't log back onto my character no matter how many times I try, it just says:
