Kaces,
This message comes to you out of the blue, and I appreciate how much it's going to piss you off. However, as you insist on selling your product to a gang of backwards inbred retards - most of whom cannot be reasoned with I feel the only resolution to my problem is to reason directly with you.
Keeping this as polite as I can, I'll make my point swiftly and put the ball in your court. Back in 2009, I cracked another well known packet bot (not that it was hard, nor do I imply it was any great feat); however it's now something I can control and distribute as I like.
After SqaureEnix's pathetic idea to merge servers, we are now infested by 'Exodus' and their 25-35 claim bots at each Ground King. Alas, this is no fun for me nor my Linkshell. I don't intend to pay for 20 mules just to outclaim them.
My proposal to you? Have your bot removed from Leviathan. Granted this is completely your decision. Should you refuse, I feel the only possible action I can take is to publicly release (for free) the cracked and secured version of arenz. As we designed an authentication server and completely reverse engineered the protocol,
it wouldn't be a problem to create a basic web front-end for other Linkshells to sign up to use it for free.
Obviously, I will ensure I push the bot to Linkshells on Cerberus. If I can't have it easy with my Linkshell, why should you?
Bang goes the exclusivity of a packet bot, making your own product worthless to the masses not to mention likely pissing off a lot of your customers (and potentials). After all, why pay for something when you can get it for free?
Extensive proof, screenshots, demos, code, and anything else I need to prove that this is ready to roll is available
at your request. You can call my bluff without discussing it and you'll see this system up and running on June 20th at
http://www.melonsbot.com.
Obviously, I will ensure I push the bot to Linkshells on Cerberus.
If you intend to make this a public drama fest, it will be released a lot sooner.
Requesting response by 15th, June, 2010.
