No sound for alpha test

SephYuyX here. At friend's house installing beta.

Doskar had the same sound issue with alpha and benchmark, but when I installed the beta, the sound started working on the client, so I went and ran the benchmark and that started working. This was before the big patch was finished downloading too.

The only thing I could think of is that we were prompted to install a new version of DirectX. Dxdiag shows that it's now DX version 11, which installs both video and sound updates.

So uh, I guess one thing to try if you all are still having problems is to go update DX.

(Re-)Install DirectX End-User Runtimes (June 2010). Use the full ~90MB redist package, not the webinstaller. This fixed the sound issue on another computer running Windows 7 Professional x64.
