Aion worth playing?

The only time you need to group in Aion is for instances and some campaign quests.

I can hope, but the way they handle internal policy, their ToS, and their customer support is beyond abysmal compared to other companies, MMO related or not. Not to mention their laughable Gm system is being transferred as well, which unfortunately is one thing I couldn't stand about XI. Also, Sundiwut :< he's the community head, again, or was last I heard. I'll prolly try it, but I'm really not going to get my hopes up too much

What server do you play on? Have no problems with that on triniel, at least on elyos side.

Also on triniel, (i unquit :<) and asmo's pretty much do all the missions also.

I can hope the game is good, but everything that I've seen on it doesn't personally make me want to play it any more than any other MMO coming out, I can't win a FFXIV argument on BG though lol :3 I won't try!

Ya just asking, since I don't think the things you listed really make a big difference in the end, if the game is good.

It's never taken me six hours to run an instance and when I need to get things done I've got a solid network of friends to do it with. I have zero complaints about Aion right now.

Went against a dredg team of: cleric, glad, sorc x3, sm on my 1800 MR cleric

Something really enjoyable about watching 2 flamesprays and an inferno bounce off me for 0 damage

The 2 flame spray sorcs forgot about their supplication of focus skill (+1000 m.acc) they had to slot to be able to slot flame spray?

4k DP is trash now, 2k DP does a lot more damage >.>

should run fine on anything c2d with at least an 8800 if you don't mind reduced settings. anything newer should be just fine.

hell, I ran it on a laptop with a 9800M and an E6300 or something at mid level settings 1440x900. (the laptop tended to get hot though.)

yo, played aion in beta and then business took me abroad 9 months. Had fun in the BETA because there were alot of people. Was wondering if I can expect people to play with in the lower levels. I mean, I like soloing I just would rather play in parties you know? Played ffxi for 6 years left that mark on me, havent been the same. Also, what server do people recommend for high population. Would rather play on a high populated server, plan on playing asmo as well since I hear elyos full of whiny 7 year olds.
