Aion worth playing?

Most servers are relatively high pop at the moment because merges just happened recently. Vaizel has by far the highest asmo population, but a lot of them are 50s that transferred here so I don't know if that will translate to lots of groups at low-mid levels.

It has it's fun moments. I've quit for quite some time though, I didn't find much lasting appeal to the game. It's a good game for people who have limited play time.

So....i'm thinking of buying it, mostly because i've been playing private server and am sick of all the bugs/i want to actually play it. Anyone got a refer a friend left and don't mind using it on me? Probably gonna go asmo, and probably on the server that is highest with asmo (unless they added restrictions).

vaizel has the most asmos but you can't create asmo chars there anymore

until things actually balance out (which will be never), the game is a lost cause. we will still play it regardless.

less of a grind
penalty for purple on pink ganking
restriced pvp areas.

Are you playing XIV? I won't be able to really. Going to leave my PC at my parents place and take a strictly 'school laptop' to my apartment once fall begins.

Aion is fun but servers are so damn imbalanced at the moment. If you're on Vaizel I'll see you tomorrow likely. My PC has been at the shop for awhile now getting upgraded. XIV looks nice, but it basically feels like an HD XI. I'm kind of weary of playing w/ Gary and Lance again because then I'm sure I'll be addicted again. I liked Aion since it's not a time-sink for me + fun still imo.

Same thing, lance and gary'll hop on vent once in a while and fuck man. it's so easy to see how much fun ff could be again. lance and his fucking laugh and gary's still got that god damn harmonica.

if it's like 11 i wont play. it'll be the same up till 4am camping some shit no one needs just to make sure the other guy doesn't get it.

i had a beta key but gave it away to criso\randoma. if it's mostly instanced content with minimal world spawn emphasis i might give it a shot. I like being able to schedule my play ahead of time.

i miss you guys tho, wish you played aion with me. you'd have loved it for sure if you were there from the beginning. it might be fun now once 2.0 comes out but I think you'll be more interested in XIV. XIV looks too good graphically. I preordered it just to stare at it..

oh linds and i broke up, well she dumped me lol in February. I started to play aion with her brother's actually, in the 2 years we got to be pretty good friends and figured it was a way to keep in touch.
