Quality isn't -too- bad
This game really is horrible online, blocking on reaction is damn near impossible. Hope it's just the first few days.
Oh I found a youtube channel with allllll of the fatalities (except kintaro's). Lemme find it.

Uh, you were wanting to know what people considered OP. Which is basically what a tier list does. Says who is currently the strongest/has the most advantages. Even though it's not a good tier list.
That sounds like a Tier List to me.Either way, I'd want to see what a community deems overpowered or the best
Yeah, anyone saying this netcode is good is just fooling themselves or is really lucky. Everyone in my area is saying they can't connect to a ranked match, and when they do it is pretty abyssmal.
Its almost worse than Tekken netcode when that was first released....orz
SF4 was pretty horrible on release too, I'm sticking to playing with friends/offline content until the mad rush is over
Ok, then I wasn't being specific enough, I guess. I merely wanted to see what, and I quote, "gameFAQ retards" are complaining about. Be it cyrax's ~25% damage combo + easy netting with bombs or otherwise. Tier lists are always to be taken with a grain of salt because it isn't like everyone's going to use all of Shang Tsung(or whoever's on top)'s moves the way they're supposed to. People may, instead of using everything, keep in mind a few moves/combos and JUST do those. Especially in a game like this where there are ~50 different things a character can do. What's OP =/= who's the best(tier list). Either way, I want to drop it since you're going to continue about me wanting a tier list, and I'm just going to say no the whole time.
The hidden battles during ladder/etc are awesome. Haven't beaten either noob or reptile once yet, but it's pretty awesome/nostalgic how they gave reptile his first move set(freeze/spear).
Sorry Welt, had company over and we were passing off on story mode so we could unlock stuff.
Maybe later tonight.
This is just hearsay as far as I'm concerned (going to try this when I get home), but so far the "quickplay" options like Ranked Match have the noticeable delay in them. But matches from rooms have little to no delay.
Once again, testing this when I get home to see. But yeah, the netcode has been underwhelming thus far.
No it is true. When I play with friends in a private room, it is just as good as my living room. Haven't tried ranked though.

NetherRealm can rebalance Mortal Kombat on the fly, no patches needed
Reptile's acid spit too powerful? Does Raiden have a super cheap infinite combo? Not to worry, as Mortal Kombat maestro Ed Boon revealed to Eurogamer that the latest entry in the series can be balanced at any time -- without the need to download a patch.
Boon noted that if a character is discovered to be too powerful, or if an inventive player discovers an infinite combo, developer NetherRealm is able to "make adjustments and address those things immediately." Precise details on how this works were not revealed, with Boon stating only that the dynamic updates are "built into the system" and don't require a patch.
Mortal Kombat isn't the first game to utilize dynamic updates. Certain Xbox Live Arcade games have managed similar on-the-fly updates using Title Managed Storage, a limited amount of Xbox Live server space Microsoft grants its developers. This system allows Monday Night Combat to receive balance tweaks and is also what powers "Teh Internets" levels found in Super Meat Boy.
Yeah, I can also attest that private matches are like you're playing with the person sitting next to you; haven't tried ranked matches though.
watching story mode vid.. Oh my god Johnny Cage has amazing lines. "Throw that on your barbie...shrimp... err whatever"
Fuck Shao Kahn. That is all.
lol Shao Khan's always been a piece of shit to fight.
