Agreed! My top combo for him involves Xray, does 50%. And a 25% w/o. I think he will be awesome. You can end a roundhouse with 1, 2 Aqua Splash

Yeah. I'm kinda disappointed with some of the special moves. Thunderbolt is fucking awesome, but the aqua kick and doesn't combo into anything. Waterball has a large start up time so it can't be combo'd from regular hits like say... scorpion's spear or sub zero's freeze. However, his teleport can... which is awesome.

EX boost made my normal combo damage go from 30 to 46.

Right as rain> dash >punch punch >lightning >super kick >geyser kick

Rain is insanely good and is going to most likely be nerfed to hell, you watch and see. Could not wait for him so I picked him up right away and jesus.

Just doing 12f4, dash, 12f4, dash, 43 is 26% alone and you can keep it going with a waterball>geyser kick for 32%. Now to wait for comicon to see who the 4th DLC is going to be an if they can surpass the hype Rain currently has going.

ExGeyser Kick is disappointing, I was hoping it would add an extra hit in the form of a reverse noob saibot teleport. That way you could end a good combo with it and still keep pressure on them.

lol you can't be serious. I think i'm gonna have to start playing again. I mean yea they could have added someone from actual MK lore but Freddy Krueger actually looks like he will work out. Only thing i'm disappointed about is that he doesn't look like Englund.

Mortal Kombat's newest kombatant certainly came as a surprise to the seasoned MK vets here at Joystiq; we were expecting Tanya, or maybe even Meat, but Krueger? Dude wasn't even on our radar, let alone our fantasy character selection screens. As out-of-left-field as his inclusion seems to us, series co-founder Ed Boon says that slasher villains have always been on the table as potential new characters.

"Over the years, we've certainly had a number of conversations about guest characters," said Boon during an interview with PlayStation Blog. "A number of names were run by us: Jason, Michael Meyers [sic] and all those guys. Freddy Kreuger, we felt, was the most instantly recognizable and he fits in with Mortal Kombat with his claws." We think they made the right choice; why would anyone put the guy from So I Married An Axe Murderer in a Mortal Kombat game?

Extended gameplay of Freddy, he has Smoke's teleport with a ground skill similar to that of Shang's skulls. Looks like fun to play.

He really shouldn't be. If Rain catches you into a combo, it's your damn fault - he has barely any overhead/unblockable game. He does have a few lows, but no on-command overhead. You could low block all day, fuzzy block his overhead 2 hit combo and just not give a fuck. All of his specials hit high too - his lightning is not like Nightwolf's.

Rain is someone that you have to get used to. I have to press my commands in slower or I end up doing geyser kick or something. I`ve read other forums and people think he has a lot of negative edge which I kinda agree, if you press his commands too quickly.

Someone had said Roundhouse Kick cannot be combo`d into it can, I just found out an hour or two ago lol. do 4db4.
