Part of me wants this game to fail cause MK sucks dick but part of me wants it to crush MVC3 just so Capcom can get the idea on how to make their game appeal to casuals without alienating the hardcore players. If MK has a good netcode, I think they are 2/3s their way there.

Unplayable online, easy to win with 2 characters, one with a gdlk assist.

From what I've seen it looks pretty badass. My only gripe was the character models but the special effects are kewl.

I'm pretty impressed that they managed to make Stryker, of all characters, look badass- but then again, I guess any character could look lame when they're played by mulleted Ed O'Neill in a fat suit

Peaceful Jay is demoing MK9 atm if anyone is interested. Just 4 characters so nothing really new so far.

I think the chatacter models are awesome looking, but their movement is another issue entirely. They look kind of stiff in everything they do.

Hate to derail slightly, but would anyone recommend MK vs. DC? I'm *still* playing the stupid MK demo on and off, and I figure I may as well bide my time with another MK-related title.

Played the demo and thought it was badass, haven't really played a MK game since the SNES but this has me really interested, think they're doing a great job with the reboot. May just have to buy it!

Theyve changed his voice about 4 times after UMK3/MKT, and I havent liked it since. At least Boon still voices Scorpion.

Anyone know what'd be a comfortable setup for an arcade stick using this game? MK has always had a different layout from the traditional row of buttons.

I was thinking of going

x LP HP EX
Block LK HK x

on my SF4 SE. The ex button is my main worry for comfort since you have to hit it roughly the same time as you hit the button for the special you're doing.
