Best gaX until Magian fully upgraded?
Definitely top tier a handful of TotM weapons and Relic/Mythic beat it but still it's a beast that seems to be pretty easy to get if you've got a half way decent group. The worm isn't a complete joke but a bet it'd be pretty much dummy proof for most people with like 8-9 people.
better late than never right? 1/1
Spoiler: show
spoilered cuz its just another swift belt. needed for dnc
80RDM with /SCH can give capped stoneskin with capped phalanx, we do this now in salvage whenever we are planning a ZR boss, and other then the people on the mob itself, everyone takes nothing, I've never seen it break a stoneskin and being on bard with nothing on me but horns basically, that's kinda nice, I would assume the same thing could be done with this NM as well with a group.
Can a rng or rdm who has solo'd megamaw tell me how long it took, thinking smn would be a pretty easy solo too, more so if he does not regen.
Took me roughly 90 minutes on RDM, but I have basically no gear other than what I got for 60 cap BCNM, uncapped skills, and linked about a dozen worms on all sides of him right at the start and rarely got to do any nukes.
It's easy yah... But what noone is telling you is that you need to wait for mikey to be in the right spot for solo.. And that is what takes some time unless your lucky. If you don't, you will get killed easily by linked worms. The regular worms around mikey have a much larger casting length than mikey himself.
If you want to count on your luck, yes. He can and will occasionally do some double attacks followed by a gale or whatever he wants, which will eventually force your MNK to cast ni with slow2 on unless you have everyone erase as he readies it, which is unlikely if he just DA'd before. Anyway not going into detail there, just find it out for yourself. Yes, it will go right at times, but it can go very fast very wrong too.
Wondering if /sch is out of the question, although I do have access to a 60 rdm refresh whore, gonna give this a shot, heard it has a certain amount of fast cast, was it noticeable?
It has a very strong fast cast yeah, but rarely casts on you. Only did once to me (Stonega 3) and this did hurt a great deal. Worms don't cast particularly quickly.
I think /sch would be doable, just have to be very careful of Quake and Stone. Basically don't run in too often because if you run in and they start casting, then you run out, and run in again while they still are it will still land on you. If you space it you should be okay.
Not sure about anyone else, but I often couldn't see what the worms were casting on me, so I'd run in to cast and be hit with a Stonega III out of nowhere. I was very frequently hit with Rasp, Stone IV, and Quake, which I blinked. Again, I fought him right near the middle and linked everything right away. If you're going to do him on the periphery, /SCH might work. If you're not, I wouldn't give up Utsusemi.
