Check my xiah history sometime, I bought cross-counters when I was 50 and kept them because they do have situational uses defensively. I put a mule at eastern because I'm going to level RNg sometime and leaving a char there is minimal to no effort. 25 minutes running there daily at pop(less if it pops while I'm awake and I only zone in vs running to camp for another claimer) vs 4m, as long as i don't go 0/10+ then I'm making more profit while not flooding my own market in addition to aesthetic value of having ra/ex over normal. It's not even my primary mule, and I can't 3box super efficiently so I couldn't otherwise be making notable gil with it.

@Misc Jealous Gimps : I fully expect SMN burn to be nerfed when cap hits 80. I'd still like to finish my Maat's Cap, and I'm not a gimp. So yes, I want a Vali's Bow for lessers.. are you seriously going to tell me that's not useful? If SMN burns aren't nerfed, great, I wasted <25 minutes a day zoning in when i claim eastern.. I can live with it. I might even use a 5hit ebow setup when I hit 75 until I get around to doing trials for OAT gun..

Now what, going to criticize my use of 550k on cross-counters until I got a pair of retaliators for 0 additional time investment? I'd use them for tanking charybdis/verthandi/krabkatoa/tinnin/tyger if the situation happened to come up, admittedly not a huge use, but who knows what newer mobs are going to have? SE could easily make monsters have ridiculous melee in an attempt to put traditional tanks back in front of DD tanks.
