Prolly no longer needed at 80, but it was definitely worth having at 75. I know you probably read something here, likely by me, that Ace's helm is generally bad (and I stand by that statement), and probably aren't intelligent enough to understand times that it isn't.
That being said, could prolly nitpick, keep on a 5% haste head, but just switch back/ring/ranged/etc, if you really want to optimize for Dyna-Xarc (we also dropped glass with 1.5 hrs left after clearing a pretty large portion of the zone), but I think that rule works fine, and on content that matters, the accuracy is worth swapping in. I also forgot to parse everything besides DL tonight to check accuracy and such, oh well~ But ya, having 4 different incremental accuracy values is bleh.

Killkenny has a MKD Turban+1 that he TPs in "normally".

Before Level 80 you could easily get 440+ Acc with Amano, and i'll agree that on SOME Xarc mobs (thf only really) you might not be 95%. But you defending it now for lvl 80 is just sad. Tell him to change his spell cast or stfu.

Edit: And if you were blind that much, might wanna try using pizza, because unless you have chaos and minx2(talking about when it was 75 cap) gekko will prolly beat kaiten by alot.

If we cared about optimizing for Dynamis-Xarc, we wouldn't fucking drop our glass 2 hrs in and would farm it for a full 3.5 hrs. Sadly, we don't care, and I have the same thing in my spellcast, which is very nice for various higher level Abyssea NMs that may or may not have the ability to blind. Really not gonna change shit or nitpick that much for BS old content.

Also, Kaiten seems to outperform Gekko on normal demons (but Gekko wins on the NMs), looking at logger. Lots of missed overwhlems though, so ya know...oh, and that's with bard/dnc/cor.

I believe efficiency is good to point, but have always said I can understand cheapness/laziness/etc to a degree, but people should be realistic and honest about it, which is exactly what I was in my post. I acknowledged it could be better optimized for Dyna-Xarc, but it hardly seems worth the effort since really, I care about new content. Anyway, I believe in efficient to a point (not taking 12 people to salvage, etc), but I understand that people, self included, don't always care to go that far. I don't have 5 different accuracy sets that go up 1 piece at a time, but acknowledge if I had them and used them properly, it would be better. I dunno anyone besides Cream Soda who micromanages gearsets that much though.
D. I originally was joking, but then your friend said some of the most retarded bullshit I've ever heard, including that you were capped on gear, which I pointed out was wrong. IF you could read any better than Konda, you could go back and read the thread, and see that I even said the same to him, that I didn't expect people to have full Abyssea drops yet, but it was dumb to call someone capped on gear when they were easily missing some 5+ drops.

Easily. Never DAs, just make sure your healer has shadows for after Mighty Strikes (really, shouldn't get hit with wire cutter unless you mess up on shadows for some reason, it's a joke to keep shadows up on). Also, I think it's best with only 1 DD to limit TP fed/aoe WS damage. But DD/nin, Rdm/nin, Brd/whm, Blm can pretty easily do it. Don't really even need the blm.

Mighty Strikes is a full hate reset on the primary target. It's not hard to get it back (1 WS usually does it), but if the DD has no tp/etc...as long as it's slowed/elegied, it's a joke to keep shadows up as I said though, so the healer should be fine. Never DAs.
Also, I'd strongly suggest rdm over whm for the healer specifically because it absorbs buffs. The only real time it can even be remotely challenging is if it absorbs like march+march+haste (and you lose them all simultaneously).

And i do agree that the ace's helm swap is good for 75 xarc, but now it just isn't(for xarc), which is why i posted(jokingly). Because honestly i could careless what other people do.

What was your luck like for tier1 and 2 upgrade? I've spent close to 120min killing tier1s in la theine, and not 1 upgrade yet.
