Nebraska has been pissed since the inception of the 12 that Texas is considered more valuable than them (gee I wonder why), and of course the big 12's tv deal just plain sucks balls, and isn't making any progress.

And they have every right to be. That's the point of joining a conference...to put your strong/weak points up with every other teams strong/weak points (sports wise as well as academically) and everyone balances eachother out. When you have a team like Texas/OU getting a giant share of revenue while everyone else splits the scraps from the table...it's going to go bad sooner or later. I'm not sure about the other conferences, but the Big 10 splits their revenue fairly. Yeah it's about money, but honestly...what isn't?

Yeah, see, there's this whole thing where Texas has exponentially more fans, as well as consistently quality teams in Football, Basketball, and Baseball, and is quite literally the best thing any conference could hope for.

everyone talking about their big whig schools lol. Just glad my ECU pirates (as of right now anyway) arent gonna do anything. Skip left the past season because of it. Leave em in C-USA to keep getting championships (Yeah I know putting ECU and C-USA in this thread is small potatoes but gotta support my team somehow

miz: tyron lue and cookie belcher are held as traitor status here in Co Mo, they both went to high school about 1/2 hour from mizzou. but they didn't want to play for quinn snyder, so I forgive them for that at least lol

The SEC.. I don't see them grabbing from the ACC. They've stated before that they don't want to grab anyone really from the ACC or Big East.. but who knows what will happen if all this shit goes down.

Big 10 already got Nebraska, Mizzou's already burned a ton of bridges and pissed folks off so I don't see them going to the Big 10. Notre Dame and Rutgers I could see going, though. Big 10 can grab a couple from the Big East for sure.

It's been said (from where I'm reading here and there) that KU's basketball program is worth a shit ton of money, which is obvious, so they may go into the SEC/Big East/Big Ten for basketball anyway. Just whatever big conference wants them as the NCAA won't want them thrown into the MWC Basketball conference for sure. As for K-State, Baylor, and ISU.. yeah, they're pretty SOL with this whole situation, which is sorda shitty considering the turn around Baylor's had as a program, and then K-State ramping it up too.

All in all.. yeah, it's all a money issue, which is shit. The Big XII is collapsing before our eyes, and there's not much we can do about it.

Oh, and if what a friend of mine from Tuscaloosa is telling me.. he said the SEC was goin' after OU and Texas, but through back channels and shit. That true? If so, that'd be a smart grab, though I doubt either would want to come down here.

Honestly, the MWC basketball conference would give Kansas about as much competition in basketball as the Big12 did.

MWC appears to be very interested in Mizzou, KU, and KState.
