Ha! Funny... for the longest time I just assumed I would hate hate HATE pumpkin ales because I don't really care a lot for pumpkin in general. Had one finally a month or so back and it was so damn good. Don't recall the name at the moment, and it definitely wasn't that one since I would absolutely remember that name. Likely something local to Oregon I would think. Either way not at all what I was expecting/dreading and I will definitely be trying more next season.

Friend was having fun playing with his new camera and tried to take a panorama of the beers we were drinking a while ago. Original image was 5.5mb, but apparently that's too big for BG lol

Firestone is good stuff. It's a shame they don't distribute to NC Some of that stuff was imported from Boulder, CO. I especially miss the Left Hand Nitro Milk Stout. There's 1 place I can get it on tap here, but that's it. It's OK though, it's best on tap

Pirian, where did you get the Sinebrychoff Porter?!?! I've been desperately hunting it down to no avail ever since I first had it up in Amherst, Mass. $12 for the bottle at the bar I was at, but it was worth it.

I'm sorry to say that I'm not too sure. It could have come from one of 4 places:
    Boulder, CO
    Charlotte, NC
    Raleigh, NC
    Pittsburgh, PA

Or none of them, because one of my beer buddies does beer trades with various friends around the US. Out of all the options, if I did provide it that night then it came from Charlotte, NC, and I think that's pretty likely because there's a shop here that gets a lot of imports that a lot of places don't carry. We drank all that at the end of July, though, so you're really stretching my memory for a specific beer

Any of you guys jump on the hype train and grab a Westvleteren XII gift box? The closest place in Ohio that was selling it was an hour and a half away so I woke up early to be there when they opened only to find out they actually released it yesterday. I got the very last set they had. Can't wait to share it with friends.

I found Great Lakes Christmas Ale being sold here, it's brewed in Cleveland. Thank you, Cleveland, for having one good thing about you.

I'm thinking about picking it up since I'm a huge fan of Gulden Draak. This place nearby my job supposedly got it today as well so I'm thinking of stopping by on the way home in case they have any gift cases left..

The only shop that had the bricks had sold out in an hour and change here. God damn you, New York. Oh well, A trip to Belgium was ALWAYS needed.

Is Angry Orchard getting too mainstream to enjoy? It went from being hardly being carried to constantly sold out at the bar that has it on tap.

Because I really enjoy it at the bar without piles of people HURRing at me

Unfortunately it's past the season, but if you want a real good cider then you have to try

    http://brewbound-images.s3.amazonaws...pumpkin640.jpg

I always buy a case or two when it comes in, and a lot of places it sells out within a week of getting in stock (most places around here actually sell out in the first couple days)

I'm not a fan of Woodchuck's other ciders that I've had, but I have only had 2 other kinds by them

indeed :D I even introduced it to a few new people this year! $20 for a 4 pack around here, $80 for a case, but so worth it lol. I can only drink a couple per sitting, though, and I have to space them between a stout to clear the pallet otherwise I stop tasting the cherries

$12.99 for the bottle in the picture. Can find it for $10 if you go to the right stores. I love this stuff, look forward to it more than any other seasonal beer.

9.4 fluid ounces in a regular bottle, 22 in a bomber. It's pretty much the same price, but I know a couple places that give case discounts, so I go for the 4 packs xD

A classic 'round these parts: Bush de Noël. A rich, sweet, full-bodied, warm brunette covered in just the right amount of white foam.
The name is a pun on "Bûche de Noël", a christmas chocolate cake shaped like a log that is just ubiquitous at this time of year in francophone countries.

I went to see if my local well-stocked liquor store got any Delirium Noel in. Sadly, they didn't. I'll have to drown my sorrows in the bottle of Delirium Nocturnum that I picked up.
