Dude, lol. 2010 is dramatically different. They added a ton of more moves, the game play is more fluid. Like I said before, it's extremely detailed in the amount of control you have over strategy both as a team, and for individual players.

They also have a lot more Licenses this time around, and you can update rosters as well. Think you might be pleasantly surprised if you pick it up. Maybe rent it or borrow it from a friend.

@Volcanic... oh I do so suck at FM 2010... so bad.

I don't really like FM 2010... I think I'm like 20 seasons into my FM 2008 save file? I used to obsess over that game and play it at my old job all the time but now I'm totally burnt out. I do remember Messi retiring from my game lol and was funny to see players like Ryan Giggs, Lampard, etc as opposing managers. Maybe I'll post some screen caps if I can find the file.

I also prefer PES to FIFA, but I haven't really played the new FIFA because I hate Electronic Arts with every fiber of my being (played 09 and it was awful). I had a become a legend guy who was about 30 and led the league in goals as a DMF lol. But it just takes way too long to play matches and gain points... they need a better simulation system.

Sold. =P I think that it was initially a race on Gamefly and they sent me FIFA10 (which i bought) first and then PES just got lost. I will have to rent it and then perhaps just outright buy PES 2011. Actually I will look for PES used as well. Just a matter of deciding what console to grab it for. Don't suppose the PS3 allows for kit updates via USB?

I think I'm gonna order the Fifa world cup game. From the demo the gameplay seemed the exact same as Fifa 10, and I really like that you can play any of 199 countries in the game.

My friend made me download FIFA 10 (yar, etc, whatever, who cares) and I 've been incredibly addicted to it.

They have a mode where you can create your own character, and join a team. I made a cute guy and joined Flamengo, and have been kicking ass, and have been getting into Brasil's roster for international friendlies :D I GOT TO PLAY A GAME WITH KAKA IT WAS SO FUCKING EXCITING OMG <3 I scored a goal but Kaka didnt come up to hug me

The announcers piss me off, really wish there were multiple languages to choose from. (Maybe there is and idk?) Honestly, I'm having loads of fun, and this is the first sports game I've played since I was like.. 10?

You can download different languages for it, but sadly there is no Shirtless Kaka version for you to download =P

Oh yeah, that was one of my complaints, players not taking their shirts off in some of their celebration animations after they score a goal. Or after the game.

Not really, it's practically the same as 09, I used to love pro evo, played it for 2+ hours a day, but recently bought fifa after watching some of the skill video's on youtube http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5n8Dc...7o&feature=sub etc, and it's just got so much more than pro evo does, more skills, more control over your player, licenses, more teams, better gameplay. I still play pro evo the odd time but Fifa 10 is just a much better game than PES10 is.

After that: Not really, I've been hearing car horns, shouting and screaming people, honking vuvuzela and extremely loud music mixed with extremely bad singing by drunks until 3 AM.
I guess these kind of events make people forget that it's just a normal weekday and people need to work so try to sleep...

Well, it's kind of my own fault too for living right smack in between 2 pubs and at 10 minutes walking from Museumplein. (=_= )a

That said, I hope we win next sunday, I really do!
But I fear the after effects for the night as I am one of those folks that just goes to work like nothing's happened the day after...
I'll be glad when it's all over, wether we win or not.

That guy uses the same 2-3 moves over and over and dominates with them. Fifa is easy. PES is more of a simulation. The moves are there, including rabona. Not every player can pull off every move too, which adds to the realism. In the end it just seems like a toss up.
