First off, the play was over within like 2 seconds, he could have called it easily without disrupting advantage.

Play wasn't really over. Robben kept going, the only way that play could have ended would be for him to take the dive.
Not to mention it was Robben alone with 2 defenders, if the FK had been given the time it would have taken for the Dutch to get up to capitalize would have also allowed the Spanish to get back in numbers to defend.

A handball is a handball, it doesn't matter how it happens, although some refs give leeway for defending yourself.

Handball or Ball-to-Hand decision is on the ref. The ball hitting the wall from a FK I'd argue is the latter unless the defender is lunging out with his arms to interfere.

Spain went out blatantly fishing for yellow cards, and when they didn't come the Dutch got more aggressive, and got the cards when they actually deserved them. There were *plenty* of plays made by Spain that would have been cards on the Dutch and weren't even called on them.

The first half was quite a scrap but the Dutch, in my opinion, were playing far more recklessly and got lucky on a lot of calls.

The linesmen blew the goal. Yes, he was onside during the final pass... but he was blatantly offsides for the pass that was deflected poorly. It's not suddenly not offsides if it's not a successful play, the goal happened because he was offsides in the first place, hence they blew the biggest call of the cup.

The replay they had on the BBC showed him to be just onside for the first pass which the defender got a leg on and he was well onside for the followup which he volleyed in.

Linesman was well lined up to see it too.

Even that I can accept, though, I'm just pissed because the play had absolutely no business happening in the first place, there should have been another free kick, and when that was missed it should have become a corner. As a direct result of 2 horribly blown calls and one understandably missed call, Spain won the World Cup.

The Robben play was all on him for keeping the play going. If he had flopped he would have got the FK, Puyol would have got a card, but then we'd be complaining that he flopped and if nothing came from the FK we'd be going on about what could have been if he'd carried on.

If you're talking about the FK that hit the wall I think the ref made the right choice not giving a handball, but he did cock up on not calling the corner. Especially considering how he should have seen it.

He didn't make 4 assists otherwise he would've won Golden Boot as well. Muller had the 5 goals and 3 assists which put him on top. But other than that I agree with you.
