nope... just saw him play in a friendly game for Milan against the Chicago Fire. He's out of shape and looked kinda lazy, but still damn good on the ball with no space.

I'm kinda suprised in that Mexico game that they didn't start Blanco. He might be slower and older than basically every other player out there, but you need players in the middle that can control the pace with the ball and actually do something creative.

First, Mexico fucked up (like always) for not scoring when they had the chance. That always comes back and bites them in the ass. However, the good thing is that they never back down and will try to tie/win. It was a decent game for Mexico because the home team had a huge ass pressure to win, which was evident during the first 20 min where Mex couldn't score. Next up is Uru vs Fra and will clear things up. Irregardless, Mexico has to win 1 and tie the other so they won't have to depend on the other teams.

Edit: Blanco can't play 90 min.

Blanco did well even for being old and fat, was a nice change of pace for Mexico, and well Marquez had to save the day for Mexico.
