aww i made a friend.
but yeah, to be honest what i said last night wasn't far off.. i said netherlands/denmark would be pretty even but netherlands would win, and to be honest they weren't that much better in my opinion. Japan did beat Cameroon like i thought and.. okay i got this one wrong italy are not as good as i thought they would be

I don't know what sports you are used to watching, but 2-0 is not even. Denmark were never going to score with the tactics they used, they were simply going for damage mitigation in order to possibly have a chance at coming second in the group (the thinking is that if they can win their other matches and have a better goal differential than both Japan and Camaroon, that they can advance). Did you see how tired Bendtner was when he came off? That was because he was tracking back all the time and then pressing up in order to let the tactics work. Holland are quite a bit better than Denmark, especially considering that Denmark was simply trying to stifle them. That's not even considering that Robben didn't even play. Holland got the best in the end because they reacted to the play by subbing Eril for VDV, and it had an immediate impact.

Enjoying the tournament so far, however I've only been impressed by performances from South Korea and Germany. Tried to watch almost every match as well, sucks that I have to work for just the England matches...tvs everywhere in the bar I work and barely got to watch 5 mins worth of the game, so busy.

Ghana and Paraguay have trolled my espn bracket hardcore too :/

Dense speaks truth. If you thought Holland - Denmark was close, we must have been watching different matches because in the match Dense and I watched, Holland was in complete control and stuck it to Denmark almost the entire time. Oh, they also won 2-0 as Dense already said.

If you miss a match, you can usually find many different highlights from different countries/in different languages (yeah, yeah, not exciting for a great majority of you, but nice anyways).
