England looks like they are playing really tentatively, almost as if they are afraid to make a mistake.

The lack of atmosphere (all the great team chants etc) because of the fucking horns is contributing way too much to crapping this one up too.

That's always been one of my favorite things about the WC.

I am not even talking about overall big picture excitement though, I am talking about match to match excitement, form, professional players that are the cream of their country's crop showing me WHY they were picked.

I feel like every team is just playing as conservative as possible this year, no attacking spectacular moments.

Am I alone in thinking that the past 2 world cups were far more exciting? Or perhaps the only one that has watched the past two? XD

The English fans have managed to sing the national anthem over the horns a few times.

That said I miss the old loutish England Fans who'd dominate the stadium atmosphere.

I do feel there's something surpressing the players too.

Or is it really the land that's quite high above sea level, the ball, and those frigging horns making them all suck?

Seems like nearly every team aside from Germany is playing well under expectations.

    Idk wtf is going on.

Edit: From the matches I've seen that is. Missed a few.

TV here started to filter Vuvuzela, I've been hearing songs/spectators only for a few days.

I agree matchs aren't that exciting, but I find it got better since we started the 2nd batch of matchs.

Tbh, the amount they get payed at club level I'd expect them to be able to dance the Bolero for 90 mins and still beat Algeria. Hmm, Wright-Philips on at least. 25 mins to wrap it up..

i remember WCs since the 1990 one, every cup everyone complains about everything, not many goals, too many faults, bad refs, bad ball, no creativity..

i mean, ppl just like to complain.

The reason why teams scored more before it's because the teams in general had a bad defense. Just sayin'.

England need to go to 4-5-1 and get heskey off the pitch... dont know why capello doesnt do it.. they played in that formation for a short while against japan and you could tell that the whole team liked it better, they played well and then he went back to 4-4-2... dissapointed with this so far!

Edit: well there goes heskey.. dont think itll go to 4-5-1 this time however

England are in bad form overall. Need to stop playing so many long-balls and praying to get lucky.

Exactly, personally I think this second round of group matches has been fantastic.

What's all this blind backheel pass bullshit from England players?

You earn how much money? Look at what you're doing.

Maybe it's your connection speed? Or even a regional thing? I know yesterday I had mad lag during the Mexico game. However, it's been flawless so far... well there was a minor hicup during halftime.
