Geez; I just now realized that some of the decks have unique attributes like increasing the maximum multiplier to 5x, or doubling the duration of Euphoria.

Yeah, the power decks.

Thank god they can only be used in their own mode online, they'd be too OP otherwise for competitive use. Great for cheesing some stars in singleplayer though. >.>

While some songs may be harder, it's definitely a lot easier to 5 Star songs, imo.

Well it certainly makes it a lot more understandable as to why it seemed like my Euphoria meter was draining at the pace of a snail. Still, I love the 5x Multiplier for anything where I don't need Euphoria as a crutch (Galvanize, anyone?). Heh.

Still would be nice to get paired up with someone playing same difficulty as you ._. Can't do Checkpoint/Star Battles at all...

I hate having to use Euphoria as a crutch for the rapid crossfading section, but I love the Scratch Perverts remix of Galvanize. So close to breaking 1.2M on Hard.

Ugh, what idiot designed the vocals portion of the game? It's fucking impossible to get an idea of what the game considers your pitch as there's no visual indicator of it until you actually need to speak the lyrics, which is hard since the line is static, rather than scrolling at a decent pace like Rock Band.

Geez, is the playerbase for this game really so low that my 2.1M on Galvanize on Hard (not even Expert) puts me at #19 on the Leaderboard?

I'm wondering if X360 or PS3 version has more players on it, mostly online. I'll be picking this up sometime next month, and plan to do at least a nice bit of online. Been playing X360 version so far at friend's house

Edit.. Actually all 3 songs are great now that I've played them. I wish the game had more of this instead of some of the hip hop junk

Pretty sure the code can be entered whenever, just that getting the code is what's on a time/resources limit.

I suck hard at this game on anything higher than Hard. The first few sets I usually do fine, but the later sets, I'll be lucky if I can get 2 or 3 stars. I just can't seem to find a good flow to do absolutely everything the game wants me to. I still have a blast playing it though even if I suck. The tunes are always enjoyable

I played through Empire on Hard, and then restarted it on Expert. It's a gradual thing that you get used to, but even then directional scratches still fuck me over more than anything else.
